Renewing Your Agreement It is recommended that the renewal process be initiated at least six (6) months prior to expiration of the agreement to allow sufficient time to negotiate and finalize the renewal document. Our office will send a reminder to facilitate this process. In considering
renewal of a cooperation agreement, the parties should assess effectiveness
and progress toward achieving the objectives of the original agreement.
Only active, vibrant agreements that are achieving stated objectives,
and have concrete plans for future collaboration, should be continued.
